Movement, it is indicative of life, it is indicative of health, it allows us to feel. It’s what enables us to live. It’s what keeps us alive. Yet, ironically so does stillness. Stillness of the mind.
When we’re able to expel all distractions and noise, then simply focus on the present, we begin to truly know and become our true selves. We begin to embrace the now, the current. The current moment, the current second, the current breath. We enter a state of nirvana no recreational drug can replicate.
In this stillness, our pre-frontal cortex thickens, we increase endorphins and serotonin, we decreases cortisol, we boost DHEA and melatonin, we increasingly move towards Alpha all while being perfectly still.
Movement and stillness are two sides of the same coin and are perfect complements to each other. The key is know when to cycle them on and off.
Movement of the body with stillness of the mind can create a perfect harmonious symmetry that is so other worldly we often don’t have a “name” for it, other than perhaps — The Zone.
This proverbial Zone is so elusive, few of us get a chance to regularly experience the state, as something in life seems to always be at odds with us, competing for our time, our energy, our peace.
Take back that time, that back energy, that back that peace.
Be still in blazes of movement. Move vivaciously in perfect stillness.

I love this post!!!
